2048 is played on a 4×4 grid, with numbered tiles that slide when a player swipes in either direction. Every turn, a new tile will appear in an empty slot on the board with a value of either 2 or 4. Tiles slide as far as possible in the chosen direction until they are stopped by either another tile or the edge of the grid. If two tiles of the same number collide while moving, they will merge into a tile with the total value of the two tiles that collided. One tile can not merge more than once in a turn. Once the grid is filled and there is no more options to merge, the game is over.
This version of this classic game is created in 3D to enhance the gameplay. The original version of the game 2048 was created in 2014 by Italian developer Gabriele Cirulli. This version of the game was developed as a tribute to the original.
